Visiting Family: Part 1 - Reunion

We just got back from suuuuuch a wonderful trip to Austin to visit our families.  

It was such a lovely week.  I didn't even realize how much we needed that time together as a family! 

We really enjoyed the time to reconnect and just have a break from our regular routine. 

Claire got an A++ for traveling in the car!  I was truly amazed!  She didn't cry at all for the entire 4 hour trip there and back!  What a trooper she is!

We did so much that I am breaking the trip up into several posts so it's not too long.

I'll start with the little Family Reunion that we had at my parent's house!  Claire got to meet my aunt Bobbi and my cousins Amity, Bart & Elysha and their adorable kiddos for the first time!  Once she finally woke up from her nap she enjoyed getting passed around and loved on by everyone!  I love the picture of her with my mom below--you look so pretty mom!  Claire's cousins Nate & Maddax were busy playing with their puzzles...notice the #3 is suspended in the air when I snapped their picture!  They were sooo excited to see each other.  Can you believe these precious little cousins were born just days apart?  They are soooo cute and sooo full of energy!

 As you can see it was a jam-packed time full of fun, laughter and lots of energy to keep those sweet boys entertained.  My cousins Amity & Elysha are such great moms and I know I could learn so much from them if I could see them more often.  Too bad we don't all live in the same city. 

Claire was very spoiled by lots of sweet gifts and just LOVES her new tutu, onesies, bath towel and UT outfits!  We had fun dressing her up in her little tutu from Amity & Aunt Bobbi!  Thank you so much!

I LOVE this family photo (taken by Elysha) right before we all left.  I think this is one of my favorite pictures because it just totally captured the moment!  What wonderful memories!  I am so glad we could all come together from 3 different cities, even if only for a few hours, just to hug each other and love on all these precious kiddos!  We love you guys and let's get together again...soon!  xoxo
