Claire Says "Da-Da"

Every few days Claire is working on new sounds.  Recently she has been repeating the "t" sound and occasionally the "d" sound.  We've been teaching her who everyone is in the family, Mama, Dada, Bindi, Pumpkin, and Buddy!  We had a feeling that she was working on "Da-Da" last weekend, however in the beginning it was too hard to tell if she was really trying to say it or just practicing her sounds.

Then, Monday evening Kevin came home from work and was cuddling with her when she ever so gently reached her little hand to his cheek and looked him deep in the eyes and clear as day said, "Da-Da!"  It was the sweeeetest thing and completely melted our hearts! Here they are right after she said it!

She continues to work on it and will even sometimes say it when I am holding her and she sees pictures of her Dada on the wall!  We love you Claire and as much as I always say I don't want you to grow up so fast, it sure is fun to see all the new and exciting things you are learning to do.  We love you so very much and feel so very blessed to be your parents!
