This post is a HUGE thank you to Kevin!

The first two weeks of a new school year are always the most difficult weeks of the entire year for me because...
1- You have to give SO much of your energy to get your class started on the right track
2-there are meetings or events everyday after school
3- there is a meeting everyday during our planning period
4- I have to stay super late to find the time to plan and prepare lessons for my kiddos
5- It's exhausting to give so much of yourself to the children all day, and the parents who are still unsure of who I am!
6- I am in charge of collecting, organizing an enormous amount of paperwork for each child
7- we begin assessing our kids to find their levels in various subjects...one at a time!!!
I could go on and on...but you get the idea!
Usually, by the second week of school I begin to feel like this....
HA, HA!!! I laugh OUT LOUD every time I see this picture!!! I can't believe I am posting it on here, but it is just too funny! This picture was taken my first year of teaching by one of my best friends who I am still teaching with today, Laura! I remember she came into my room and we just vented and let it all out! As a result, we took this picture to show how I was truly feeling about teaching in that moment!
But the worst part is what usually comes next...this is what Kevin was expecting this year, I am sure! Usually at some point in the first 2 weeks of a school year I have some sort of emotional breakdown! I cry about how stressed out, overwhelmed and exhausted I am. BUT, that did not happen this year....and that is all because of you Kevin!
Kevin, you have been SO amazing and I am so grateful for your love and support! YOU have made this the best beginning to a school year ever by...
1-waking up EARLY to cook to me a delicious hot breakfast every morning
2-taking care of ALL the pets! Letting Bindi out, feeding her, etc.
3- taking care of the bills, including one that was late, because of me!
4-keeping the house clean
5-doing the dishes!!!
6- cooking dinner!!!
7-unloading the dishwasher
8-fabulous foot massages
9-super shoulder massages
10- lots of chiropractic adjustments
11- MOST OF ALL- listening to me tell you about everything, loving me, encouraging me!
Every year I wonder how I will get through these first two weeks! This has been the first year that Kevin was not completely immersed in studying and/or going to classes 12 hours a day while seeing patients in the clinic! WOW- what a difference it has made for him to be able to share so much of his love, support, time and energy with me! Thank you SO MUCH babe for making this the best start to a school year ever! I LOVE YOU!!!!!
