In the Midst of an Economic Crisis

So, here we are.  After seven long years of school for Kevin we are finally where we have dreamed of being.  He is all done with school and ready to start his practice.  There is just one minor detail...in order to do that he must get a small business loan.  WOW- what a time to be applying for small business loans.  Can you believe that things have gotten this bad?  I would have never thought that our economy would be where it is today.  How on earth did this happen?

 I know that the Lord has a plan for us and that in His time it will all come together.  I have had a strange peace and patience when it comes to Kevin's practice.  I just know that this is what he is meant to do and I know that the Lord has a perfect place for him.  I am usually such a planner and have everything mapped out years ahead of time.  But, I realize that this is all out of our hands.  We can only do so much.  So for now, Kevin and his business partner have finally found a bank that has offered them some hope.  We are waiting to hear back from Chase Bank.  They have met with bankers all over town.  Many of them simply said that they were not even offering small business loans at this time.  I have a really good feeling about Chase bank though.  I will let you know when we find out!!!  It could be week...maybe more, maybe less.
