Ike comes to North Texas

Ike is coming our way!  The meteorologists are telling us to expect tropical storm force winds.  We have "battened down the hatches" outside and we are ready for the rain and wind.  It has been dark and windy outside all morning and the rain just began.  My parents are in the Dallas area and will be coming over to spend the day with us.  We are praying that everyone who was directly hit last night is safe.  It's hard to tell how much damage has been done at this point.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of our family members from Galveston and and the Houston area.  We are so grateful that our family in Galveston got out when they did.  They are safe with Kevin's parents in Austin. We are anxious to hear from our Houston family.  We love you guys, hang in there!
