Chubby Cheeks is a photographer in the Houston area whom I just love and admire so much! I read on her blog that she started participating in a project with a group of photographers called "kids were here". You can visit her blog to see her uhhhh-mazing photos and description of the project HERE. As soon as I saw it I just knew I had to do it too. Immediately I was in love with it, all that it stood for, all that it meant and the perspective that it lent to this stage of our lives.
So, here is my version of Kids Were Here...
It's about finding the beauty in everyday life...in the moments left behind that would have otherwise passed. It's about taking a second to realize this is the best time in my life...and capturing that. Instead of cleaning it all up and putting it away, it's about capturing that memory and holding it close to my heart.
These are the days of glass slippers and tutus...and I wouldn't ever dream of having it any other way...
