We're Feeling Optimistic!!!!

Kevin continued his search for a small business loan today.  I now refer to this as "the money chase."  He was in very high spirits today after spending about 8 hours visiting with various bankers.  The good news is that President Bush has somehow invested more money into the banks (or something like that) so that they can offer loans again!

He said that the overall feeling at the banks is like night and day.  The past few weeks you could just feel the stress, concern and fear inside the banks.  Today was much better.  Several bankers were very optimistic about him and his business partner being approved!  They both have great credit and are willing to put enough down to make it work, so as long that banks are giving loans we should be golden!  We will hear back by the end of this week or beginning of next!

The search will continue tomorrow.  He is off to more banks!  I am so excited for the day that he tells me that he has been approved so that we can move forward with everything.  That will call for a major celebration!!!
