Fall is my favorite time of year. I find it so welcoming after a long, hot and miserable summer of 100 degree temperatures. The feeling of a crisp morning breeze and the sight of pumpkins and scarecrows and leaves dancing in the wind makes me stop and enjoy the moment and praise God for all that he has done for us. I get an excited feeling inside as I anticipate the holiday season just around the corner. We have so much to look forward to. I love spending time with our families, Thanksgiving, Christmas, days off school, my birthday and finally we are all encouraged to be thankful in a world that is so fast and so stressful. I encourage each of you to savor every moment with your loved ones and truly be thankful for them this holiday season. I long for this season every year. Kevin loves it because he remembers his days growing up in New England with breathtaking fall colors. There have been many discussions about moving somewhere that we can experience a true fall, however we could never be that far from our families. So, since it doesn't always look like fall outside, I make sure that we are enjoying it inside! Here is a sneak peak at our house this fall!

Welcome to our home!

Spooky!

This spooky sign is one of my favorite things this year!

Here is a picture of it close up!

Of course, the table is set for fall too!

We found Bindi napping by the pumpkin today! How precious is that!!
In a world that sometimes feels full of stress, fear and devastation find a moment to enjoy the quiet and be thankful for what you have. So many around us are suffering and have had to endure so much in the past few weeks. If you are one of them and you are reading this, please know how much we love you and that we are praying for you.
When the Lord closes a door, he ALWAYS opens a window.
