Kevin's mom has been here twice in the past month to visit us and help with both kids, diaper changes, cooking, cleaning, groceries...you name, she has done it! I have been SO blessed by her help and my mom who lives in town and has also been coming over several days a week to help with the same things when Kevin's mom wasn't here. It is because of them that I can see straight and have even had a few naps and had the chance to wash my hair! Let me just tell you...it really takes a VILLAGE to raise children and I am so, so, so THANKFUL for the moms in my life! They love us and they love our kids more than words can say and are always willing to put our needs ahead of their own. One day I know I will do the same thing for Claire and Clark when they are grown up and need an extra set of hands when they have their children. They have been a shining example of what it means to really be there for family when they need it and I can't tell them how much I have appreciate it.
