It truly is "the most wonderful time of the year"...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I was so excited to finally hang a 3rd stocking this year!  We bought our family stockings 5 years ago and the green ones are for our kids/future kids- we bought 3 kid colored stockings, so we joke that is how we will determine how large our family grows- who knows though.  I was so happy to get it monogrammed and hung this year!

...and a new place to decorate this year..on top of our "playway"- which is my made-up name for the hallway that we turned into a play area.  Since it's not an actual room, I refer to it as the "playway."  Claire can't reach the top of this sofa table yet, so it's still mine to decorate (yay!)...notice how the coffee table is completely clear! :)

Since I mentioned it, here it is.  I just LOVE this space!  All her toys are in one spot, fairly organized and she can cruise along it pulling herself up and picking out her toys as she chooses.  It works great that it's right in the center of our home so I can always see her whether I am in the kitchen, dining room or living room!  Thank you IKEA!  We love our Hemnes sofa table.

Claire LOVES all the Christmas decorations!  She is just in awe of it all.

I actually got a bow to stay in her hair today...only long enough to snap a few pics before she pulled it out, but I just thought it was adorable!
