Sittin Up Since July 6th!

Well, it's taken me a while but I'm finally posting another milestone for Claire!  She's been sitting up all by herself!!  She started sitting without our help on July 6th at 5 months and 6 days old!

What a big girl you are Claire!

Most of the time you do a great job sitting...but just when we think you've got it you take a nose dive!!

This time it just happened to  be while I was taking your picture!  

I must mention that Claire was in no way harmed during the taking of these photos...in fact, here she is right after her crash landing.  She made a very graceful recovery by rolling onto her tummy!

She then proceeded to suck on her bottom lip which seems to be one of her favorite activities these days...oh that and the non stop drool!

She is just as cute as can be with those little legs!

I love you Claire, now will you please stop growing so fast for just a little bit??? Mommy is getting sad that you are almost 6 months old already.  Before I know it I'll be dropping you off at kindergarten! {sigh}
