Whew- I've been behind on my blogging and I'm hoping to get caught up this week! We are hiring a new employee at the office so all my spare time has gone to interviewing, reviewing resumes, calling references, preparing new hire documents, adding her to the software system, etc, etc!
So....last weekend Kevin's mom came to visit! We were so excited to have her come spend the weekend with us and soak up lots and lots of love from sweet Claire!
We had such a great time relaxing, cooking, eating and just hanging out together inside as we escaped the heat! The only time we went outside was to take these pictures. I heard that Saturday was one of the hottest days in history here in Dallas Fort Worth! Thank goodness for air conditioning!
It was 107 degress!!!! My goodness!
Friday morning we went to Dillards! Lita LOVES Dillards! I have a feeling this will be one of many trips that Claire and Lita will share shopping for great deals at Dillards! On the way home we stopped at this awesome pirate ship that travels around the United Stated and was here for a week selling sno cones!
It was truly a wonderful weekend!
I only wish we had taken more pics but we were too busy having fun and cooking! We had lots of great meals including the Oven Baked French Toast, Lita's famous breakfast tacos, & my favorite Greek Chicken, Wild Rice and Roasted Asparagus! Yum!
We love you Lita and can't wait to see you again! Thanks for making beautiful memories with us!

I had the most wonderful time spending time with my children. These are memories that will last a lifetime. I love you all so much, and Claire is the delicious icing on the cake. Thank you Kelly for always making things so very special.
