May 22, 2004 is such a special date to me. Just seeing it typed on my computer screen fills my heart with joy. After 18 months of being engaged, I finally married my best friend and the most amazing man ever. I still can't believe how well we compliment each other, how much we are alike, how well we get along and how we always want to be in each other's company. Honestly, we just can't get enough of each other. I know that God loves all his children and that He has the best plans for all of us, even more than we can ever imagine, but even knowing that, sometimes I just still can't believe that God gave me Kevin for my husband. I surely don't tell Kevin enough how much I appreciate everything he does. I wish I told him more often how much it means to me that is always so understanding, patient and that he always knows just what I need to hear or just what he can do to cheer me up or help me out. I was SO excited for our wedding day. When the doors opened at the church and I saw Kevin standing there at the other end of the aisle I just knew this was going to be the best decision I have ever made. I have no idea how 5 years have flown by so fast. It seems like just yesterday we were getting married, living in Austin and talking about what it would be like when we move to Dallas and I start my first year of teaching and Kevin starts chiropractic college. Now, here we are 5 years later. I have taught first grade for four years, Kevin has graduated, is now a doctor and is getting ready to open his practice. WOW, when did all that happen??? Life sure can pass you by if you're not careful to stop and enjoy the small moments. Here I was coming downstairs at the church. I was about to meet up with my dad for him to walk me down the aisle.

Our ceremony was so beautiful. I wish I could post the video on here. We were married in the Riverbend Wedding Chapel in Austin, Texas.
Here we are beginning our lives as husband and wife!

I wish I could go back and relive our wedding all over again. I am so thankful to both of our parents who helped to make this day so special to us. It was truly one of the BEST days of my life!
This year we celebrated 5 Years by going to Watters Creek and enjoying dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant, Brio! I really didn't get any good pics of us. Here is one with me! I was obviously excited about my favorite item on the menu!
Of course we had dessert! MY FAVORITE DESSERT!! YUMMY!
After dinner we went outside to find a beautiful sunset!
(Pardon the random cars in the picture!)
We enjoyed the beautiful evening walking around Watters Creek! I LOVE that place! They had Live Music on the Green that night. It is such a fun place to hang out!!!
All in all, it was a wonderful evening! Oh, and we also went to see Star Trek earlier that day and it was awesome!!! :)
