THIS IS LONG....BUT IF YOU HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING OUR BLOG OR IF YOU KNOW US, IT IS WORTH READING!  GOD WORKS IN AMAZING WAYS!

Last weekend we met with the doctor that Kevin will be leasing his office space from to go over the final revisions for the contract!!!!

While we were sitting there going over everything with the doctor it hit me that this was all really about to happen!  We have been waiting for so long now that it kind of began to feel like it was just something we always dreamed of rather than something we were about to do!

Through all of this excitement and anticipation there is also the need for A LOT of very important decisions to be made. 

Questions concerning build out, insurance, finances, loans, debt, patients, marketing, location, signs, website, logo, floor plan layout, and SOOOOO much more....the list goes on and on.  

As we make each decision I PRAY that we are making the right ones.  They say that with great risk comes great reward...well I hope that is true.  It is not easy to start your own practice at any time, especially when the economy is not at it's best. However, together Kevin and I PRAY for WISDOM to make all the right choices and follow the right path.

TOGETHER we have FAITH that we can do this.  Last Saturday while we were reviewing the contract I left feeling so happy!  With so many discussions and decisions about the many significant details and changes coming our way, 

I prayed that my faith was in the right place.  

I don't want to be blinded by the excitement of all of this and end up making any decisions we might later regret.  I asked God to show me that my faith was TRULY in HIM and HIS plan for us, NOT in my own dreams and visions.

After my prayer I wondered how God would be able to show his answers...after all it's not like he will just answer me right away....or maybe he will...

THE VERY NEXT MORNING

I checked my email and saw my daily bible verse in my inbox.  

This is what it said...

hmmmm, maybe that was a coincidence?  I didn't want to get too excited and think that was really MY answer, but I also didn't want to doubt it either.

THEN, THE NEXT DAY

one of my students brought me a gift for teacher appreciation week.

This is what it said...

WOW!!!  I was amazed.  I couldn't question it anymore.

TODAY

I was paying bills in the office and saw The Daily Word book on my desk. My mom has always gotten me a subscription to it.  I admit sometimes I don't always read it everyday and it has been a busy week so I was behind.  I opened it to Saturday, May 2- the day we met with the doctor to review the lease and this is what it said...

AND THEN

with great curiosity I turned to today's message and this is what it said...

SO, I have listened and I am so AMAZED by God's answers.  I will have FAITH, I will LET GO AND LET GOD, and I will follow HIS GUIDANCE!

It's enough to make me wonder if I am crazy for thinking all these things are really my answers?  I mean, really...I just never expected all of this.
