Spicin' It Up

Saturday Kevin and I are having a date night for our anniversary.  Our anniversary is actually on Friday, however Friday is field day at school so I am going to be wiped out and would rather have a nice date on Saturday.

It has been YEARS since I bought a new dress and some cute shoes to go out on a date with my husband.  I decided it was time to spice it up a little bit with a  new outfit for our special date. 

I rarely wear dresses...I am a capri and jeans type of girl although I have quite a collection of cute skirts that I wish I wore more frequently.  

Anyhow, I found a dress VERY similar to this one on clearance at Kohls!

I decided to SPICE IT UP with a chunky, red necklace I already had!

And to tie it all together I found these cute red sandals on sale at Payless!

I can't wait for our BIG date!  We really wanted to spend our anniversary in Austin, but it didn't work out with our schedule so we are celebrating it here AND then AGAIN in Austin a few weeks from now!  I am planning to really get my money's worth and wear all this again when we go to Austin!  We have lots of fun plans for that weekend too!  I can't wait!
