Everyday Life - Watering Flowers

One of my (many) photography goals this year is to capture everyday life in creative ways that tell a story about what life is like right now.  I've been inspired to do this because I cherish this time so much and I don't want to ever forget the little moments--because those little moments are what life is made of.

So...here is my first attempt in what I hope will be a common theme here on the blog of our "everyday life."  I will say- getting really good photos of this was challenging!   First of all because Claire is moving so fast it's impossible to get all my settings on my camera and get the right angle and not miss the shot.  Secondly-the clouds were rolling in and then the sun was coming out meaning I needed to keep switching up my settings.  Lastly- I pretty much never got the focal point right b/c there was soooo much movement going on. While I'm not in love with the quality of these pics- I am totally in love with the memories we made.  Maybe with practice I'll get better at this-until then, please excuse the blurry images, strange angles, etc!!

So- here we are watering the flowers...

Claire wants to try using the hose...this could be scary!
She's getting a mist a rain from the hose!!
Love the look on her face here...I see this a lot when she is looking at something and thinking about it.
She kept going around the pillar and smiling at me when she came out!

Big crash just about to happen!  Be careful, Claire!
Learning to use a watering can!

Picking flowers.
Sweet girl!
Determined to get where she wants to these days without any help!
Examining the flower...
Peek-a-boo!
"Look at my flower, mommy!"
around and around and around again!
still trying to figure out how this works...
Time for a cool down!
That was lots of fun!
She could play outside ALL day long!
