Seven Years of Wedded Bliss

Seven Years ago on May 22, 2004...

I married my best friend,

my senior prom date,

the one who can make me smile when all is wrong,

The love of my life.

(I love this picture!  Our wedding was so much fun.  I really wish I could relive it all again.  Truly one of the best days of my life)

Seven Years Later...

Kevin-you are all that you were then and even more to me now.

Now you are not only my husband, you are the father of our beautiful daughter.

You are my partner in work, in marriage, in life.

We've cruised through simple times and climbed mountains of challenges,

Seven years of love, of blessings, of days I wouldn't trade for the world.

I look forward to a lifetime of love with you babe!

This year we decided to forego gifts and cards and just spend some time together.  My mom came over to watch Claire and we went to lunch at our favorite little mexican food restaurant, La Finca Chaquita!  It is a little hole in the wall restaurant with the best Mexican food you can buy; all cooked in house by the owner's family recipes!

Kevin surprised me with a card and my favorite chocolates by tricking me...

When we got in the car he asked me to get something out of his glove box.  When I opened it, this is what I found...

I can't believe he did that.  I felt bad because I thought we literally weren't doing anything and I was totally fine with that, but he was just glad he surprised me.

It was a simple date and it was perfect.  We followed up lunch with a quick matinee movie and then headed back home to the new love of our lives...our greatest gift of all, baby Claire!  It was perfect, simple and sweet!  Happy 7 Years of Marriage!!
