Claire at 3 Months

Claire is now 3 months old!  WOW- she is getting to be lots of fun now!

We have made it through the first 12 weeks, which were rough for both of us, but it's getting much better now!

We're getting lots more playtime and snuggle time with each other!

3 months just might be my favorite...at least so far!  I don't want her to grow too fast!  She is just soooo cute right now!  We've been enjoying the beautiful spring weather!  Claire loves to be outside!

The flowers are blooming and it feels soooo nice to be outside in the 70 degree weather!

We will miss these days once summer hits us!

Kevin's Aunt Nidea knitted the most beautiful blanket and hair bow for Claire!  Oh, I just adore it and will treasure it forever!  Claire seems to love it too...

Claire has just started wanting to go to bed earlier now.  She used to nap and then wake up around 10pm to eat before I went to bed...but the past few nights she has gone down between 8-9pm and sleeps until around 5-6am...usually...sometimes she wakes up during the night to nurse still.

She is eating about 5 oz every 3 hours.  She has trouble nursing so I am pumping for her.  It is a lot of work, but I am glad I can do it for her.  She still nurses in the morning and before bed and hopefully more once we get everything worked out with her nursing issues!

She must be having her 3 month growth spurt because in the past few days she seems to be outgrowing her clothes and her diapers too! I cleaned out her drawers and bought our first box of size 2 diapers.  I am so sad she is growing soooo fast!

She is still wearing some 0-3 month clothes, but I think we'll be moving into the 3-6 month clothes soon.

She finally has some sort of a routine which makes life much easier for all of us!  She wakes up and eats, plays and then about 90 minutes after she woke up she gets tired and goes down for a nap.  She usually naps in her swing during the day.

This month her favorite toy has been her playmat!  She is not a fan of tummy time, but sure does seem to enjoy looking up at all the toys above her!  She practices grabbing them too!

 

I just can't get over how much fun she is!

Her personality is starting to shine through...

she is sweet, silly and sometimes bashful...

Her little feet are soooo cute!  I love the way her toes are always moving and sometimes she puts her feet together so it looks like she is praying...too cute!

I had fun trying to take photos of her in her pettiskirt!  She thought the ruffles were lots of fun to play with!

 

Her eyes are so beautiful!  I could stare at them all day!

She is truly the light of my life!

She is such a dream come true!
