So Ready for Fall!

The heat wave continues here in Texas.  At 4 months pregnant I find myself frequently dreaming of cooler weather and beautiful fall days.  Fall has to be one of my favorites seasons.  What's not to love...

• the cool brisk air gently blowing against your face
• the soft sounds of leaves blowing in the wind
• temperatures that are perfect for outdoor grilling, sunsets and hours spent in the hammock
• the anticipation of the coming holidays
• the relief that the heat is finally over and we can all get into our parked cars again without melting and feeling like we're going to pass out

For years and years Kevin and I have dreamed of taking a fall trip to New York where Kevin grew up.  Fall in Texas just isn't the same and I have never seen a "real" fall since I've lived in Texas all  my life.  We almost went last year, but unfortunately it didn't work out.  Until we get to go one of these years, I am just dreaming of scenes like this!
