Our First Baby Item Purchase and a Freebie!

So, there are so many baby things that a couple needs when they are expecting their first, so where do you begin???  

With the diaper bag, 
of course! :)

 Whether we have a boy or a girl I knew I wanted a bag that was gender neutral since after all, I am the one that will be carrying it, not the baby.  This was much harder to find than I expected.  So many of the bags were just not my style.  They were either designed for a boy or a girl,  looked too much like plastic or had a child's design, which is fine, but just not what I was looking for.  I finally came across this one and knew it was the one.  I didn't plan on buying it until it kept selling out on every website I could find it on.  Then I got nervous that if I waited too long I would miss it.  So, low and behold it finally came back in stock one day AND there was a FREE shipping code, so of course,  I took it as a sign to place my order!  I AM SO EXCITED!  I know it's silly, but this makes me soooo happy!  I actually have a diaper bag...and a baby on the way!  Ha- I know, that's obvious, but I'm pretty giddy about it!  So, enough delay, here it is!

I love the big round metal rings and the way it hangs on my shoulder!  It is perfect, just what I was hoping to find! 

The other baby item was actually a freebie that my friend Kate told me about!  She found a website giving away FREE nursing covers.  All I paid was the shipping! I am sure this will come in handy once the baby is here!  I can hardly wait!!!

I'm so happy to be in the 12th week now!  I keep praying all the time that this baby is growing strong and healthy.  This past week I found out I had a UTI (apparently pregnant women are very prone to them) and then had some spotting Saturday morning, so I am taking it easy and saying some extra prayers too.  Your prayers for a healthy little baby are greatly appreciated!!! We're almost through the first trimester...WOO-HOO!!!!!!
