You haven't heard from me lately because I have been very busy getting ready to host a BIG baby shower today! It was so great! I LOVE details, so I took on a lot of little projects! I think that entertaining is my "love language"! I have always enjoyed hosting and entertaining. This time I really thought I had taken on too much because I had so many ideas! I am SO GLAD I finished them all in time, it all came together and it was WONDERFUL! Whew! Here is the shower in pictures...
Here is the table!
We had chicken salad sandwiches, spinach dip and crackers, fresh fruit and strawberry fruit dip, veggies and ranch dip, sugar cookies, peanuts, punch and peach tea!
I am a sucker for clothes and accessories with the baby's name on it so I made this for little Mason! His nursery theme is vintage airplanes!
I decorated the mantle using these adorable onesies!
In an effort to continue the vintage airplane theme I made airplane shaped sugar cookies!
The process was kind of messy and I wasn't sure if they were going to turn out okay or not, but I think they looked pretty cute once they were finished!
I set up an area for guests to share their advice for the parent's to be! If you aren't a parent yet, like me...then you could share your favorite family traditions or childhood memories!
The guests signed this frame mat for Mason's nursery.
We played two games! They were lots of fun! One of the games was
"Guess The Baby Food!"
Laura's sister-in-law was the big winner and got to choose from these prizes!
It's a BOY!!!
Here is my gift to Laura and Mason! I can't wait for him to be here so I can hold him!
