A couple of weeks ago we got to enjoy a super fun night celebrating a Surprise 30th Birthday for our friend Lauren followed up by a night's stay at the Westin Hotel! Claire spent the night with Nana and Opa and we had a wonderful time staying up late, sleeping in late and enjoying a buffet breakfast, just the two of us. We had planned to go to a movie after breakfast, but instead I was fighting off a cold and desperately needed to catch up on sleep, so instead we came home and I slept...in bed...during the day...for 2 entire uninterrupted blissful hours!! Moms of young kids who don't nap....you must be celebrating with me on that one! It was truly amazing!

Lauren's party was absolutely amazing! Not only were we surrounded by such wonderful people, but it was also beautifully catered and they had Gigi's cupcakes which tasted as good as they looked! Most beautiful cupcakes EVER!
