Happy 2 Months Claire!

I have decided that Claire must have known that I was about to do her 2 month update because we have been blessed with some BIG smiles just in time to make this post much more positive than it would have been a few days ago!  She was thrilled for her 2 month photo shoot today and so was mommy, so be prepared for picture overload today! 

It has been a while since I was able to take photos of her not crying!

So naturally, I just couldn't stop!

I mean really...just look at this face!

This post is late, so Claire is actually 9 weeks old today and boy have we seen a turnaround!  MUCH less crying today!  I can't believe it!  We're still having ups and downs, but I'm hoping the worst is behind us now!

Claire is wearing 0-3 months clothing and size 1 diapers.  At her last appointment she weighed 10lbs, 2oz. and 23 inches long.

She is starting to learn how to nurse without the assistance of the nipple shield!!  YAY!!!  Hopefully we'll have that mastered by 3 months!

She still takes about 1 hour to nurse...that is really hard for mommy to do!  Some days I spend 10 hours nursing her!  Those growth spurts are challenging!

She is only waking up one time in the night now!  Depending on how the evening goes she usually goes to bed between 9:30 and 11:00 and wakes up between 3:30-6:30 to nurse.  I try to put her back to bed again after that, but if it's later in the morning sometimes she decides she does not want to go back to sleep.

She sleeps in the pack and play right next to my side of the bed and usually I pull her into bed with me around 5:00am or so because she starts grunting getting unsettled.  She goes right back to sleep with me and we both enjoy the rest!  I am so grateful to her for that!  I think she is a great sleeper now!

We still love to go on family walks with Bindi and Daddy brings his remote control car...Bindi is kind of scared of it as you can see in the picture!

We also like to meet Daddy for lunch!

Claire has spent a lot of time attached to me while she has her fussy times.  This is Claire going into the sling...pretty upset!

And this is a few minutes later!  This works for a little while and then we have to find something new.

Of all the baby inventions there are you don't care for most of them, but your mobile is one of the few things you usually do enjoy.

You've got quite a few friends that we try to visit every week or so!  Mommy enjoys this time out of the house as well! 

From left to right, this is Claire, Kenzie and Grace!  This picture just cracks me up!  Totally portrays their personalities!  Claire is having a melt down, Kenzie looks like she is dancing and happy as can be and Grace is completely calm and relaxed!  SO cute!

Claire also visited her precious friend Asher!  He is the son of our friends Kate & Dustin!  Asher is definitely on the approved "boyfriend list" for Claire when she grows up!  It was so fun to see them together!  Asher is such a cute little chunky guy!  I love his rolls! 

Claire also has 2 new little friends Connor and Keegan who were just born!  Pics with them will be posted soon!

We had our first trip to the grocery store without screaming! I probably took 20 pictures while we were there!  I was pushing the cart through the store laughing and singing and having the time of my life watching Claire show us who she really is when she's not crying!  People probably thought I was crazy! Best grocery trip EVER!!!

It's been close to 2 weeks since I took chicken and wheat out of my diet for Claire!  These pictures say it all...I think it's finally working!

We pray this continues!!!  Happy 2 months Claire!
