YAYYYYY! Whew- what a relief! The paint is done and it looks perfect! I am so happy with it! It looks modern, simple, calming and classic all at the same time! The pictures don't do it justice, but you can get an idea! They were still in the process of painting when I took these pictures, so ignore the unpainted parts!
This is the waiting room and check in area.
This is the hallway leading to the zen rooms, massage room, treatment room and doctor's office.
This will be Kevin's office and treatment room. We combined the two together since all of our patient paperwork is online. It makes sense for Kevin to be treating patients in his office with his computer! It also creates a very cozy office space where patients can sit down and talk to the doctor about their symptoms, wellness goals, diet, vitamins, etc.
After months of working with the condo association our building is a part of, we finally have a sign...or at least the proof for our sign! The sign should be made and installed by next week!

This is truly one of the most stressful times. I don't even think we realize how stressful it is because we are so deep into we don't even remember what it was like before. Don't get me wrong...this is a dream come true without a doubt and we are very grateful for this opportunity, however it is a HUGE leap of faith and literally building a practice from the ground up is a HUGE undertaking. I never knew how many little and big decisions there would be along the way. It has really taken it out of us. I am trying to get into the holiday spirit but it has been much more difficult than usual because I feel like I am spread so thin and we are constantly feeling like we are trying to juggle hundreds of balls in the air and I am just trying to make sure we don't drop any of them! I don't know if that makes any sense, but that's where we're at right now.
The new location is scheduled to open the second week in January! We're hoping and praying the finish out goes well and that the inspections pass so we can start living a routine life again. We have not had consistency for quite some time. I am looking forward to it and hoping that our business will grow in 2010 so that this will all be worth it in the end!

2 Sweet Thoughts:
The space really is amazing! I'm so excited for y'all. I know things have got to be crazy right now, but I pray you will be able to find rest and peace this Christmas season.
Merry CHRISTmas to you!!!
hey, nice to 'meet' you ;) we are from the dallas area too, but are actually from memphis. doesn't compare to the gailinberg mtns, but the trees are pretty!
i have a canon rebel and got a 75-300mm telephoto lens. i haven't been able to test it outdoors yet, but i think that's when i really be able to play with. it really DOES handle motion better though :)
