We're back from "cabining"

"cabining"- my definition of camping

Well, I was telling everyone that we were going "camping", but then I saw the REAL campsites and remembered what that was really like, so I guess I should say that we went "cabining"! We did all the things a person does when they go camping like eating s'mores, laying in a hammock, roasting hot dogs, hiking, and so on, but we did stay in a cabin! I took 350 pics and picked 15 to share!

About 3.5 hours northeast of us, across the state line, in Oklahoma is one of my favorite state parks! I remember going here as a kid with my parents and never forgot how beautiful it was! I was so excited to go there during the fall season!
They have the most amazing cabins out there! This is where we stayed!

This was our "backyard" for the weekend!
Bindi was super spoiled and had the best day of her life when we decided to let her up on the couch with us!
The view after our 2 mile hike in the National Forest!
Bindi's first time to go hiking- she LOVED it!!!
My favorite picture...I think I am blowing this one up and framing it over the mantle! The sun rising in our "backyard"! So peaceful!

Bindi posing on the bridge behind our cabin.
Lazy days...just what we needed. No cell phones, no appointments, no meetings, no bills, no rushing around, no stress...just rest! It was perfect!
Our little friend for the weekend!
Our little family! It was a great time!

That looks like one of the most peaceful places on earth! What a beautiful, relaxing get away! Perfect retreat for you guys in the midst of your house ordeal and starting a business. LOVE that picture of the sunrise through the trees! It doesn't even look real. You definitely need to blow that one up!
