No time to write, no time to post pics

The story of my life for the past few weeks is no time, no time, no time. I'm rushing around like crazy it seems all day, everyday.

This is the season for family photos, so I am excited that my weekends have been jam packed with lots of photo sessions...however that means lots of work for me once the photo shoot is over, so it has been CRAZY!

The build out at the new practice is moving along like crazy! Everyday we have to stop by 2-3 times to meet with electricians, security system companies, plumbers, etc, etc. SO much is going on there it's hard to keep up! LOTS of decisions to make and things to be done.

We've had a run of just plain old BAD LUCK...I don't like to harp on the negative, so I'll be brief. In a nutshell, here's a few things (some small, some BIG) that have made life feel chaotic, stressful and downright frustrating. (again I am sorry to be negative, but this is why I haven't blogged lately...so here it is...)
  • mail was stolen from mailbox-possible identity theft-had to place fraud alert on all account
  • water was accidentally cut off by the city, thank GOSH we got home before 5:00 so we could call them to come turn it back on
  • sprinkler head got run over by a car parked on our driveway and will cost $150 to replace- is now leaking, great!
  • Our dog has horrible separation anxiety and keeps licking her paws until they are infected and stinky. YES- we have been to the vet, MANY times...we're working on this.
  • Our dog has decided when she's not licking her paws she should lick the carpet until it's almost missing in some places, not good. In fact, Kevin is scolding her right now for this as I am typing.
  • I was getting something out of my car in the garage and totally gave by husband's car the worst door ding ever...chipped the paint, bent the metal and all. Had to get it repaired the very next day, close call there! He forgave me :)
  • We got locked out of our bank account b/c it asked us security questions that we never chose
  • We could not accept payments at work b/c our payment system also locked us out...several patients have to pay us later
  • We found out we can not have any of the signs we thought we were going to have b/c the building is part of a medical condo association that won't allow them, so basically no one will see any signs from the road b/c they will be so small, awesome.
And then, to top it all off...

My digital SLR camera is now showing all of my RAW images as corrupt. After 5 hours on the phone with technical support and at least another 5 hours of trouble shooting, there is no hope. It's 2 months out of warranty.

So, that's been life in a nutshell here at the Viehbeck's lately. Everyday something bad happens that makes me feel a rush of anxiety and stress. This is why I haven't been blogging, but today I just felt like I needed to get it all out and let it go. I know that even in the midst of all this, we have so much to be grateful for and that is what I am going to focus on.

I hope all my readers have a very Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!! I promise my next post will be more positive! Sorry for any typos...I'm rushing, b/c remember I feel like I have no time lately! LOL :)

UPDATE!!! After HOURS and HOURS of Kevin trouble shooting the camera, he was able to fix it!!!!! I can't even tell you how excited and relieved I am right now! It turns out that updating the firmware (I've never even heard of that before) did the trick and all the images turned out fine! Boy oh boy, do I LOVE my husband! He never gave up on trying a million different things until he was able to figure it out. What a relief!!!! Now, I am feeling ready for the holidays! :)

Kelly, You are by far not a complainer and sometimes we just go through things like this. I always think of that song that says, Momma said there will be days like this, there will be days like this my momma said. We just hope that these days are few and far between. I've found when it rains it pours and soon the sun will shine again. Hang in there!
