It Feels Good to Have a Church Home

In our almost 8 years of dating and marriage Kevin and I have lived in 5 different cities, 3 different apartments and now our current home...but we never could find a church that truly felt like home to us.  We always felt like we were welcomed visitors, but never like we were meant to be there every Sunday.  On Christmas Eve we were invited to a service by our good friends Laura and Jared.  We went that night and we LOVED it!  We went a couple more times after that and then we were hooked.  Now I look forward to it every Sunday!  As Kevin says, he feels like they are speaking directly to us.  It feels so good to find a place of worship that fits just right.  We have been going to Preston Trail Community Church.  The message is always so great, the music is awesome and the people are so warm and welcoming.  We always have good discussions after church and we often refer back to what we learned throughout the week.  Now I can't imagine not going.  I am so thankful that we have found this church at this time in our lives.   If you are in the area, you should come and give it a try!  I promise if you come you will laugh, you might tear up, your heart will be touched, you will love the music and your heart will be touched by the Lord.  We never knew church could be so real and so fun.
