It's Strange How Things Happen...

So a few weeks ago Kevin and I were driving along and we saw an incredible office space.  We just had to pull over and check it out.  Right away we could tell it would be way out of our budget. Sure enough, we found out it was for sale (not for lease), it was about 3x as much space as we needed and it cost $600,000!  So, obviously we thought of it as nothing more than a "dream" location.  Here it is.

Well, as it turns out the person selling the office space mentioned that a D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathy) was interested in buying it and leasing out a part of it to another doctor.  So, we told him that he could pass our information along to them and we could talk about it.

I took this picture of Kevin while we were at the "dream" location and he was trying to figure out how this was all going to work out...there is just so much to consider!

At this point we knew that even if they were leasing out a part of it, it would still be way more than we could afford.  Days and days passed and then we received a call that might be the answer we have been waiting for.

The doctor purchasing the office told us that they found another location (that is actually even better than the one we were looking at) and they wanted to meet with us to discuss things.

So, today we met them at Starbuck's to go over everything.  The doctor was very kind and has built a very successful practice over the past five years.  She started her own practice right out of medical school and knows exactly what we are going through as we face the difficult decisions ahead.  There are still a lot of decisions to make and things to consider, but this looks like it is a very good option.  The location is phenomenal and the D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathy) is very supportive of chiropractic and wants to refer her patients to Kevin.  (that would me AMAZING!!)  Here is a sketch of what the office would look like when it is completed.  They would share the office building on the far left.

It won't be finished until June, so she even said that until then, Kevin could adjust patients in a room that she does not use very often in her current practice location!  How amazing is that?!?

We will keep you posted as things progress.  This sure would be amazing if it all works out!  

I am really excited about this possibility!  Please pray for us to have clarity in all of our options and for us to follow the path the God wants us to be on.  

I really can't believe how all of this just fell into place.  If we hadn't spent so much time at the "dream" practice location we never would have met this couple, and we never would have this opportunity...EVERYTHING ALWAYS happens for a REASON. :)
