It's a BOY! BIG SONO from Nov. 12

November 12 we had our BIG sonogram to see baby #2 and find out what we are having and see if everything looked good and healthy!  If you had asked me what I thought we were going to have before the sonogram I would have told you hands down it was another girl...99.9% sure!  This pregnancy has been identical to my first one with Claire, which led me to think it would be another girl.  I have had the same cravings, symptoms, aversions...you name it, everything has been exactly the same.    Here I am just before we left the house for our sonogram at 19 weeks along.  This baby has been SO low!  I keep joking he is already prepping for his departure!

Our sonogram technician had a really tough time being able to see anything for our sweet boy.  He was laying on his tummy all curled up and hiding everything.  After about 15 minutes without any luck she had me get up, walk around, eat a muffin, and drink some water.  That still didn't do the trick.  In fact, she had just told us that she wouldn't be able to determine gender or even check to see if everything was forming correctly when I asked her if she could at least tell me if the baby had 2 arms and 2 legs.  It was only then, when she went to look for a second leg that we could all CLEARLY see this baby was a BOY!  I was truly shocked and so was Kevin!  I was certain Claire was a boy and certain this boy would be a girl...so I guess I am not the person to ask if you are wondering what you might be having since I have been wrong with my own two kids 2 out of 2 times! LOL!

We didn't get too many pics (since he wasn't being very cooperative), but here are a couple.

Claire is so excited to be having a baby brother and asks about him everyday!  I have so much more to share, but I will have to save it for a future post!
