A Seat for Everyone

Claire has been really into chairs and finding places to sit recently.  Her favorite places are in our laps, in between the dog's paws while she is laying down, and basically any little area she can squeeze into.  She decided to extend this newfound love to her baby dolls and teddy bears.  She LOVES for everyone to have their VERY OWN place to sit!  We set up this little reading circle and made sure each animal/doll had their own seat and a book or snack too!  Claire must have thought it was the most entertaining thing ever.

 Once "everyone" was settled she enjoyed this time to read with her MUST HAVE stuffed animals.

 Happy as a clam!

 It's good to stretch after sitting for a while...

 Back in the chair with a new book...and a ponytail that lasted about 10 minutes before she gracefully reached for the bow, pulled it out and handed it to me with a huge grin as if she had just won a prize...oh silly girl!

 Time to rearrange again.  I can't believe she is big enough to pick this stuff up and move it around.  She seems to know exactly how she wants it and is determined to put it all in just the "right place"!  Believe it or not, she is the one that set most of this up, with just a little assistance.  Maybe she'll grow up to be a teacher like her mommy (was). 

Just a typical Saturday morning with a 13 month old!!  It is great fun to watch her grow and experience so many new things.
