Claire's Nursery

We had so much fun piecing together Claire's nursery!  I love it so much.  Almost everything in there has a story or sentimental value to it!  Without further delay, here it is...

Our massage therapist at the office made these beautiful letters for Claire!  I ordered the shelf, but Kevin took off the wooden pegs and replaced them with the pink handblown glass knobs instead!  The white sweater and booties were mine when I was little.  They were knitted by my Aunt Ruth.  The pink tutu was a purchase I made in Canton with my girlfriends!  One day when she is bigger we will have some pictures taken of her wearing it!
Kevin hung this chandelier and put it on a dimmer!  Claire LOVES to look up at it.  She seems amazed by it!  I think it completes the room!
Her bedding is sweet and simple, just pale pink and white!
Here is her little nightstand.  I love the way the lamps look in her room!  I also made a special C that is in the oval frame.  It was so much fun to make...sorry you can't see it in the photo.
This curio cabinet was mine when I was a little girl!  It just worked perfectly in Claire's room!  The booties were mine when I was a baby, but the silver baby cup and baby rattle were Kevin's from his Granny!  The charms hanging on the doorknob are from our massage therapist at the office.
Being a former first grade teacher I love to read!  This bookshelf is perfect for displaying seasonal books once Claire gets older!  For now it is holding books that were given to us as gifts!  I can hardly wait until we can start reading together!
I could stay in this room for hours and hours!  I just love everything about it! You can see the pink glass knobs that Kevin also replaced on the dresser!  It made such a difference!  (Thank you Hobby Lobby for your 50% off sales!)
We have already spent lots of hours rocking and nursing in this chair!  I am sure there will be many more hours here!
That's all!  Hope you enjoyed the tour!
