We sooooo badly want to go back to Canada one more time before we have kids...which is still at long time away, but you have to plan ahead!
We have been there in the spring and winter, but never in the summer. It occured to me that if we want to have a summer trip there before I am pregnant or we have a baby, then we should probably go next summer because I might be pregnant the summer after that! I know that people travel all the time while they are pregnant, but I plan to go hiking and rafting and I don't think that would be very comfortable or safe if I were 7 months pregnant! LOL
Anyway, business would certainly have to pick up to make this dream come true, but for the sake of this post I am just going to have faith that it will and share our dream with you!
If I could book our trip, this is what we would do...
After landing in Calgary, we would rent a car and drive north to the beautiful town of Jasper! We really wanted to go there during our last two trips, but we weren't old enough to rent a car to get there! We would spend a few days staying here! The locals told us that visiting Jasper is an absolute must to really appreciate the true nature and wildlife that the canadian rockies have to offer!
Then we would head to Moraine Lake Lodge. I have always heard that this lake is a must see! The views here are supposed to be absolutely breathtaking! We would hike and canoe while we are here!
From there we would head back to our home away from home, Banff! I have heard that summer is the most beautiful season of all there! I can only imagine how amazing it is since I thought their spring and winter were unbelievable!
We would stay at one of our favorite places in Banff, The Buffalo Mountain Lodge!
And of course we would have to spend a night at the famous Fairmont Banff Springs! I spent six of the best days of my life here on our honeymoon back in 2004!

Will we be back again for Summer of 2010????
I sure hope so!
That is my goal!
One more time before I'm prego (assuming that we want to start a family at the end of 2010 or beginning of 2011)! I'm hoping we can go to Canada July or August of next summer! That would be a dream come true for us ...we'll see what happens!

oh my goodness- beautiful!!!! I'd love to go to Canada! Last night we were watching House Hunters on HGTV and this guy was look at vacation homes in Bali... I think that's where I want to go! Or actually... have a vacation home- they were incredible! (won't happen, but a girl can dream... :) )
Canada in the summer is wonderful! My best friend from high school got married in Calgary 6 years ago, and I was a bridesmaid. We took a day trip to Banff, and it was beautiful! I'd love to go back someday myself and spend more time there!
As far as my dream vacation, I'd love to go to the Greek Isles! But I think I might have to put that dream trip off a decade or two. ;)
This post makes me want to go to Canada and visit all of these places!!! We have been to Canada but it was around Niagra Falls. This part looks AMAZING!!!
My dream vacation right now would be Hawaii. Everyone I talk to who goes loves it and wishes they could have stayed even longer. Ryan on the other hand really wants to go to the Ice Hotel in Sweden! We like the cold but I'm not sure about being that cold!
