40 Sure Does Look Like Fun!

My dear friend Debbie who I used to teach first grade with at another school had her 40th Birthday Party last night!  It sure was a lot of fun!   Kevin and I are in our mid twenties, but you would never know there was an age difference when we are hanging out with these friends!  In fact, they make 40 look like so much fun that we are truly looking forward to it!  They are so full of happiness and their friendships are so genuine and sincere!  I have never laughed so much before!  Happy 40th Birthday Debbie!  Here is Debbie with our friend Donna opening some gag gifts...you know, just some Depends, prune juice. etc!!

I think of these friends as my sisters.  They are the type of friends that make you laugh so hard you cry.  The type of friends that know what you're thinking without you having to say anything and the type of friends that you will do anything for and you know they will do the same for you in return because that is what friends do for each other.  I am so thankful to God for blessing me with these friendships in my life.

I sure do miss seeing them at work everyday now that I am teaching at a different school, but it makes the times we do see each other even that much more memorable and treasured. 

Here we are again...I have no idea why my arm is up like this is in the picture.  All I can say is that we were having way too much fun imitating the "prom pose" on the staircase!  I think it turned out pretty good!

Debbie- we had a FABULOUS time at your 40th!!  Happy Birthday girl!!

Kathy- you are the next Birthday Girl and I am looking forward to a BIG bash!!!  ;)
